Heads of Ayr Tour

This exhilarating and memorable 25 minute tour will give you the joy of helicopter flight plus superb views over beautiful Ayr and the Ayrshire coastline.

Departing from the Whitefordhill Auction Mart, we route southwards around the town of Ayr towards Alloway, where we pass the famous cottage which was the home of our very own national poet, Robert Burns.  We then continue towards Doonfoot, passing the Craig Tara Holiday Park on our way along the coast towards the Heads of Ayr.

At the Heads of Ayr, you will see the most breathtaking sights of the Clyde and its coastline, the awesome Island of Arran, and the Galloway and Ayrshire Hills.

We then continue southwards, passing "Electric Brae" on the way to Culzean Castle and the Culzean Country Park.  From here we continue all the way down to Turnberry, where we see the famous Turnberry Hotel and Turnberry Golf Course, and the great sea view towards Ailsa Craig, or 'Paddy's Milestone' as it is known.

The tour then turns northwards, following the coastline all the way to Prestwick.  On our return to Whitefordhill, we pass by Prestwick International Airport, Ayr United Football Ground, and the famous Ayr Racecourse.

This truly spectacular tour covers approximately 55 miles and is the ultimate Christmas gift for any member of the family, of any age !!

This helicopter tour leaves from our helipad at Whitefordhill Auction Mart.
